TECHnically Speaking L.L.C. is owned and operated by Dr. Shameka Stanford, an American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) certified and District of Columbia and Maryland licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. 
TECHnically Speaking L.L.C is a private practice that specializes in providing speech and language early intervention and school-age assessment and treatment, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) intervention and assessment, and communication disorders related professional development, trainings, & workshops.    
TECHnically Speaking L.L.C provides assessment and treatment services both locally and internationally utilizing face to face intervention and tele-speech services.

Shameka N. Stanford, Ph.D., CCC-SLP, possesses a Doctor of Philosophy in Communication Sciences and Disorders specializing in Augmentative and Alternative Communication and Severe Disabilities within multicultural populations from Howard University in Washington, D.C. She earned her Masters of Education degree from North Carolina Central University in Durham, NC and her Bachelor of Science degree from Shaw University in Raleigh, NC. Dr. Stanford has been practicing as a licensed Speech and Language Pathologist in North Carolina, Washington, D.C. and Maryland working with both children in the school and medical setting and adults/geriatrics in skilled nursing facilities and hospitals. Dr. Sanford is currently an Assistant Professor conducting research and teaching both undergraduate, Masters, and Doctoral (PhD) level students within the communication disorders department. Her current research focuses on increasing the awareness of literacy delays and cognitive and communication disorders through training, intervention, and experimental studies for African-American and Caribbean cultures  including under-served populations. Dr. Stanford also specialized in Communication Disorders in juveniles within the criminal justice system and AAC in Caribbean and Minority children with complex communication needs.
